First 10 Minutes Guide

Everything you need to do in your first 10 minutes to get off to a great start on Renegade MC.

Minute 1 — Collect Your Starter Gear

When you first join, check your inventory. You should have a starter pickaxe:

• Iron Pickaxe with Fortune II, Feed I, Unbreakable, and Unenchantable already applied.

This pickaxe will never break and keeps your hunger topped up while you mine. Keep it safe.

Minutes 2–4 — Start Mining

Type /mines and head into the E Mine. Start breaking blocks — the mine contains Stone, Coal, Iron, and Copper Ore.

Tip: The mine automatically resets so you never run out of blocks to mine.

Minute 5 — Sell Your First Load

When your inventory is full (or nearly full), type /sell all. This sells every ore in your inventory for money. Check your balance with /balance.

Minutes 6–7 — Accept a Quest

Type /quests or walk up to an NPC near spawn. Accept a quest that matches what you are already doing — for example, if you are mining, look for a fetch quest that wants ores or crafted items.

Completing quests gives you bonus money and gems on top of what you earn from selling.

Minutes 8–9 — Check Your Rank Progress

Type /ranks to see how much the next rank costs. Type /balance to see where you stand. Type /rankup the moment you can afford it — higher ranks unlock better mines.

Minute 10 — Plan Your Next Steps

You now have your first bit of money and possibly a quest in progress. Here is what to focus on next:

1. Keep mining and selling to afford your next rank.
2. Buy a cell with /cell buy to have somewhere to store items.
3. Vote at renegademc.net/voting for free crate keys.
