Step-by-step beginner guide covering mining, selling, ranking up, and getting a cell.
This guide walks you through the very first steps on Renegade MC so you can start making money and progressing as quickly as possible.
Use /mines or walk through the mine portal at spawn. As a brand new player you start at rank E4, which gives you access to the E Mine.
The E Mine contains: Stone, Coal Ore, Iron Ore, Copper Ore
Start mining! Your starter pickaxe has Fortune II built in so you will get bonus drops right away.
Once your inventory fills up, type /sell all to sell everything for money. You can also use /sell hand if you only want to sell what you are holding.
Keep repeating — mine, sell, mine, sell.
Check /balance to see how much money you have, then check /ranks to see how much your next rank costs. When you are ready, type /rankup to move to the next rank.
Each rank unlocks access to better mines with more valuable ores, which means you earn money faster.
Rank progression: E4 → E3 → E2 → E1 → D4 → ... → A1 → Prestige
Cells are personal plots you can build in, store items, and call home. Use /cell buy to browse available cells. Prices vary by tier — start with a cheaper cell and upgrade later.
Cells require a weekly rent payment so make sure you keep enough money on hand to extend it.
Use /enchanter to open the custom enchanter. Feed it XP and your pickaxe to unlock powerful enchantments like Lucky, Jackpot, Spare Change, and more.
You can also find enchant shards while mining with the Shard Discoverer enchant. Shards can be applied directly to your pickaxe to add enchants without using the enchanter.
Use /quests to view available quests. Talk to NPCs around spawn to accept quests. Completing them rewards money and gems. Gems are used for premium items and cannot be earned from mining alone.
