How to Use the Enchanter

The custom Enchanter is where you upgrade your pickaxe (and other tools) with powerful enchantments unique to Renegade MC. It works differently from the vanilla enchanting table.

Opening the Enchanter

/enchanter

This opens the Enchanter GUI where you can see all available enchantments and their costs.

How It Works

  1. Open the Enchanter with /enchanter.
  2. Place your pickaxe (or tool) in the item slot.
  3. Browse the list of available enchants.
  4. Click an enchant to apply it, spending XP levels as the cost.
  5. The enchant is applied directly to your tool.

Enchant Slots

Your tool has a limited number of enchant slots. Each enchant takes one slot, so choose wisely. You can see how many free slots remain in your tool's lore.

Some tools start with pre-applied enchants (like the starter pickaxe) which may already use some slots.

Upgrading Existing Enchants

If an enchant is already on your tool, you can click it again in the Enchanter to upgrade it to the next level, spending additional XP. Most enchants go up to level 3, though some go higher.

Enchant Shards

An alternative to the Enchanter is Enchant Shards, which are physical items you can find while mining (with the Shard Discoverer enchant) or from crate keys and voting.

  • Right-click a shard while holding your tool to apply the enchant instantly.
  • Shards bypass the XP cost but are rarer to obtain.

Enchant Categories

Category Tool Type Examples
Mining Pickaxe Lucky, Jackpot, Ore Upgrader, Spare Change
Combat Sword / Axe Life Steal, Berserk, Loan Shark, Disarm
Defense Armor Reflect, Regeneration, Iron Will, Ghost
Archery Bow Explosive Arrow, Homing, Chain Lightning
Utility Fishing Rod Cash Fisher, Lucky Cast, Treasure Hunter

Tips

  • The Unenchantable enchant on the starter pickaxe blocks the Enchanter from working on it — it is intentionally kept basic.
  • Grab a fresh pickaxe and use the Enchanter on that one to build your main mining tool.
  • Focus on Lucky, Ore Upgrader, and Jackpot first for maximum money-per-ore.
  • See the Custom Enchants page for a full list of every enchant available.
